I started spring cleaning. One of my sisters-in-law said, "It's like If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." Indeed it is.

 

First, I ripped the carpet off the stairs. We've lived here for two years now,

and I have been wanting to get rid of the carpet on the stairs. Honestly, I was tired of vacuuming it all the time and lugging the Kirby up and down the stairs. The amount of dirt under the carpet was appalling. Not to mention disgusting!

 

 

Next up was the closet under the stairs. Amazingly we found matches for all of these!

Most of them were outgrown. We also sorted through the coats and jackets and miscellaneous junk that was stuffed in there.

 

 

Lastly, I tackled the unorganized pantry. This led to rearranging 5 other cabinets and switching locations of things. Always fun the next day when you reach for the bread only to find mixing bowls instead!
